In accordance with 10CfR50.71(e) South Carolina Electric & Gas Compan<
(SCE&G), acting for itself and as agent for South Carolina Public Service Authority, herewith files one (1) signed original and ten (10) copies of Amendment 5 to the updated fire Protection Evaluation Report (fPER) for the Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station.
This FPER amendment is updated as of March 1, 1991, and is the annual submittal required prior to August. The submittal contains the effects of all changes made in the facility or to procedures as described in the FPER, including all FPER safety evaluations performed by the Licensee.
These changes do not involve unreviewed safety questions.
