Supplementary Information Relative to Topical Report BAW-10174; Boron Precipitation Analysis By letter dated April 15, 1991, the NRC staf f requested information relative to the effect of the larger-diameter B&W fuel (as opposed to the Westinghouse Optimized Fuel Assemblies currently in all McGuire and Catawba units) on the boron precipitation analysis.
The reanalysis of boron precipitation has been completed for both stations.
The FSAR for Catawba has boon revised to reflect the new analysis results.
This revision was issued by letter dated April 3,
1991.
Emergency procedure revisions are in progress and will be completed by June 1, 1991.
The McGuire FSAR will be revised in the next scheduled update, which will occur on or about September 1, 1991.
Emergency procedure revisions will be completed before startup of Unit 1 Cycle 8, which is scheduled for November, 1991.
