Pursuant tc Sections 6.9.1.12.1 of Appendix A, Technical SpecificaLiais to Facility Operating Licenses NPF-10 and NPF-15 for San Onofre Units 2 and 3, respectively, this submittal provides the required 14-day follow-up report and copies of Licenseo Event Reports (LER's). Enclosed LER 83-022 (Docket 50-361) and LER 83-029 (Docket 50-362) address these events.
It should be noted that Southern California Edison purchased a total of six (6) such valves to be installed in either Unit 2 or 3, however, only three (3) such valves were installed: two (2) in Unit 2, and one (1) in Unit 3. The remaining three (3) valves, purchased as spares, will not be installed until they are modified in accordance with vendor recommendations.
