McGuire Nucicar Station, Units I and 2 Dockets Nos. 50-369 and 50-370 Revision to Technical Specification Bases Gentlemen:
This letter details a revision to the McGuire Nuclear Station Technical Specification Bases entitled
- Refueling Operations; Instrumentation" (Technical Specification Bases 3/4.9.2). The revision allows the use of newly installed Wide Range Neutron Flux Monitors while in Mode 6 to insure that redundant monitoring capability is available to detect changes in the reactivity condition of the core. These monitors will be used in addition to the two existing source range monitors (N-31 and N-32) presently employed for this reactivity monitoring.
