Dear Mr. Keppler:
This letter modifies our final report dated September 24, 1982, concerning Transamerica Delaval Standby Diesel Generator ASME Section III, Class 3 piping welds. Our interim report on this subject was submitted on April 28, 1982.
Due to the unanticipated complexity of the modification program undertaken.to implement the repair and/or rework required per Nonconformance Report P039-0477, a small portion of this activity has not yet been completed. After re-evaluation of the remaining activities and review of the progress made to date, we now estimate that completion of corrective action to resolve Non-conformance Report P039-0477 will be by July 1,1983.
