dated March 11, 1982 The referenced letter provided you with confirmation of our prompt notification, pursuant to Sections 6.9.1.12.1 of Appendix A,

Technical Specifications to Facility Operating Licenses NPF-10 and NPF-15 :or San Onofre Units 2 and 3,.respectively, involving the Reactor Protection System (RPS).

Pursuant to Section 6.9.1.12, this submittal provides the required 14-day follow-up report and copies of' Licensee ~ Event Reports (LER's).

Enclosed'LER 83-019 (Docket 50-361) and LER-83<023~(Docket 50-362) address these events.

The referenced-letter indicated that the failure in Unit 3 was J

on March.3, 1983, whereas it was'on March 1, 1983. -Also, the total number of Reactor Trip Breakers is nine (9)~per unit instead of the eight (8) previously stated.
