Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
My December 10, 1982 letter submitted (pursuant to 10CFR 50.55e) an interim Significant Deficiency Report (SD-370/82-06) concerning ITT Barton Class IE transmitters exhibiting thermal non-repeatability.
Since our last report dated February 28, 1983, Westinghouse has requested additional information from ITT Barton necessary to complete their (Westinghouse) detailed studies.
It appears that Westinghouse will provide the results of these detailed studies to Duke in late April. Duke will provide a follow-up report by May 2, 1983.
