Dear Mr. Clayton:
This notification is being submitted in accordance with condition 7(b) of the North Anna Power Station (Registration Number 40726)
Stationary Source Permit to Construct and Operate an Emergency Diesel Generator, (identified by Virginia Power as the station blackout generator), issued October 20, 1993 and revised on August 1,
1994.
The permit requires written notification to the DEQ-Air Division of the actual start-up date of the diesel engine within 10 days after such date.
Therefore, this letter is official notification that the initial start-up of the station blackout generator at the North Anna Power Station took place on August 30, 1994.
