!'n The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory 'Comission (the Commission) has. issued Amendment No.13 to Facility Operating License No..NPF-11, issued to Common--
wealth Edison Company for operation of the la Salle County Station,_ Unit 2
No.1 (the facility) located in Brookfield Township, La Salle County, Illinois.
This amendment grants a change to the Technical Specifications whichL i
allows a reduction of. level requirements for carbon dioxide storage _ tanks.

The Amendment is effective as of the date of issuance.
The application for amendment cceplies with the standards and -

requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended.(the Act), and the -
Comission's rules and reculations. The Commission has made-appropriate findingt as required by the Act and the Comission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set' forth in the license amendment and in the safety evaluation in support.of the Amendment. Prior public notice of.the license amendment was not required since the Amendment does not involve a
.significant-bazards consideration.

not result in any~ significant environmentalJ impact and that pursuant.to.10 CFR'-
Section 51.5(d)(4)- en environmental. impact statement, or. negative declaration:
