Pursuant to the requirements of WC I&E Bulletin 80-13, " Cracking In Core Spray Spargers," please be advised that a visual inspection was performed on the Hatch Unit 2 Core Spray spargers and associated piping during the 1983 maintenance / refueling outage.
Using remote underwater television cameras (with the required viewing in situ of 0.001 inch diameter fine wires), no cracking of the Core Spray spargers or in-vessel piping was observed.
