Dear Sir:

The NRC was notified of a potentially reportable deficiency in Referenc e (A), an Interim Report was transmitted by Reference (B), and time extensions were requested by References (C), (D), (E), (F), and (G).

At that time it was estimated that a Final Report would be available by June 24, 1983.

Due to the extensive investigation and evaluation required, it is now expected that this information will be finalized by July 27, 1983, at which time complete report will be submitted.

There is no new information or change to the Interim Report at this time.

Very truly yours, OLi.1_
