As stated in i,ne Reference, Corrective Action Report (CAR) 1-C-0026 was initiated to track the evaluation and resolution of this concern.
The CAR define's the plan of action being taken to determine the condition of thgbolted connections, correct those found to be insuf-ficienf3y torqued, and prevent similar concerns for any future work.

4 Mr. W.C. Seidle KMLNRC 83-076 June 20, 1983 been completed, provides for a random reverification of a sampling of bolted connections in order to assure Phase 1 was effective in identifying and correcting any nonconforming connections. The results of Phase 2 will then be evaluated to determine whether or not additional corrective action will be required.
The status of the evaluation and resolution of this issue will be reported to you on or before September 9, 1983. In the interim, please direct any questions concerning this subject to me or to Mr. Otto Maynard of my staff.
