Smoke Detectors in the LPCS Pump Room Covered to Perform Planned Maintenance AECM-83/0173 On February 2, 1983, the smoke detectors in the LPCS pump room were covered in order to perform a planned maintenance activity. An hourly fire watch was established in accordance with Technical Specification 3.3.7.9.
The work is still in progress, therefore, this is submitted as a interim report.
An update report will be submitted by May 15, 1983.
This condition has no effect on the health and safety of the public and does not constitute a threat to plant safety. This is a Special Report submitted pursuant to Technical Specification 6.9.2.
