Dear Mr. O'Reilly:

During an ongoing Unit No. I refueling outage on May 4 and 5, 1983, respective LCOs were generated on two fire doors in the Diesel Generator Building. One "

of these doors (Number 127) was rendered inoperable by accessing it to facilitate the performance of maintenance work, while the other door (Number 115) was found to be inoperable as a result of encountered high differential air pressure across the door which prevents self-closure. Plant Engineering has been requested to evaluate the differential air pressure problem affecting door Number 115. Until completion of the work affecting door Number 127 and resolution of the problem affecting door Number 115, appropriate stationed fire watches and the respective LCOs for these doors will remain in effect. '
