This letter is in response to IE Bulletin 83-01 which concerned the failure of reactor trip breakers (Westinghouse DB-50) to open on automatic trip signal. A review of plant records has shown that no Westinghouse type DB-50 breakers are used at McGuire Nuclear Station in either safety related or non-safety related applications.
