Crystal River Unit 3 Docket No. 50-302 Operating License No. DPR-72 Technical Specification Change Request No. 36 Radiological Effluent Technical Specifications
Dear Mr. Denton:
t Florida Power Corporation hereby submits three (3) origiral ar.d forty (40) copies of Technical Specification Change Request No. 36, requesting amendment to Appendix A and elimination of Appendix B, Part I of Operating License No. DPR-72. The proposed change is provided in order to implement the requirements to 10 CFR 50, Appenair 1, and other related requirements. Florida Power Corporation requests that the effectiv-date of these Technical Specifications occurs no earlier than July 1,1983, so that implementation coincides with the Semiannual Radioactive Effluent Release Report Schedule. Equipment modifications may be required to implement a few of these specifications; these modifications will delay implementation of the affected specifications beyond July 1, 1983. A listing of the delayed specifications and a proposed implementation schedule will be provided prior to July 1,1983.
Enclosed with this request are proposed replacement pages to Appendix A of Operating License No. DPR-72, and a signed copy of the Certificate of Service to the Chief i
Executive Office, Citrus County, Florida.
l Florida Power Corporation considers this request to be a Class Ill amendment per 10 CFR 170.22 in that it involves mostly administrative changes since the Crystal River Unit 3 Appendix B Technical SpetMications were essentially "10 CFR 50 Appendix I" Specifications. Accordingly, a check in the amount of four thousand ($4,000) is ecciosed.
