Enclosed are:
1.
Three (3) originals and thirty-seven (37) copies of an Application for an Amendment to the Operating License to amend Appendix A of our license to reduce to fif ty percent (50%) the number of incore moveable detector thimbles required for the system to be operable.
2.
Forty (40) copies of documents designated Attachments A and B which setforth the requested change in Technical Specification and its safety evaluation.
Supporting documentation for this prrposed change is contained in a Thimble Deletion Study performed by Westinghouse Electric Corp-oration and will be submitted at a later date.
We have determined this to be a Class III change request, and a check for $4,000.00 will be submitted under separate cover in accor-dance with 10 CFR 170.22.
