HATCH NUCLEAR PLANT UNITS 1, 2 PROPOSED SNUB 8ER TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION CHANGES Gentlemen:

By letter dated April 30, 1982, Gecrgia Power Company submitted revised, proposed changes to the plant technical specifications for safety-related snubber inspection and surveillance requirements. The aforementioned submittal superceded those proposed changes for Hatch Units 1 and 2 submitted earlier by letter dated April 25, 1981.

Consecuently, Georgia Power Company wishes to withdraw the proposed changes submitted by our April 30, 1982 letter prior to their review and approval.

i Discussion with our NRR Project Manager, Mr. G. Rivenbark, has JW Med that review of the subject proposed changes has been assigned tu 6'C Region II. You are requested to contact NRC Region II and terminate ir.lew of the proposed technical specification changes submitted by our April 30, 1982 letter. New proposed changes for safety-related snubber inspection and surveillance will be submitted to NRR at a later date.
