VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY NORTH ANNA POWER STATION UNIT No. 2 BACKUP OVERCURRENT PROTECTION SYSTDI North Anna Unit 2 License Condition 2.C(10) states, "No later than October 11, 1980 Vepco shall submit a design for the backup overcurrent protection system for containment electrical penetrations for commission review and approval.
The backup system shall be installed and operational prior to resuming power operation following the second refueling outage."
l North Anna Unit 2 has completed its second refueling outage.
During this i
second refueling outage, the backup overcurrent protection system for I
containment electrical penetrations was installed.
This system is now considered operational.
l North Anna Unit 2 License Condition 2.C(10) is complete.
A seismic design J
verification program is currently in progress for tire backup overcurrent j
protection equipment for the containment air recirculation fans, the inside recirculation spray pumps and the pressurizer heaters.
