Dear Mr. Vassallo:
The purpose of this letter is to inform you that the currently scheduled startup date for Brunswick Unit No. 1 is June 12, 1983. Presently the outage critical path is eight days behind schedule. We have, however, instituted an achievable recovery plan and expect to make that time up.
Based on that information, the changes in the Brunswick Technical Specifications requested in our letter of May 2,1983 which deal with the reload analyses for the upcoming cycle need to be issued by June 12.
If the Technical Specifications are not issued by that date, the startup sequence for the unit will be delayed.
Delaying the startup sequence would produce a severe financial hardship for the Company and its customers due to anticipated power demands and estimated reserve capacity available at that time.
We, therefore, request that the changes in the Technical Specifications be issued as soon as possible and at the latest by June 12, 1983.
