POWER AUT110RITY OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK-JAMES A. FIT PATRICK NUCLEAR POWER PLANT NARRATIVE SUhNARY OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE NOVEMBER 1978 The refueling, maintenance and modification outage that began on September 16, 1978 continued throughout the month of November.

Modification of Reactor Vessel Feedwater Noz:les, replacement of Feedwater Spargers, refueling and Local Leak Rate Testing of containment isolation valves have been completed.

Integrated Leak Rate Testing of the primary containment structure is in progress on November 30th.

Preparation for plant startup

1 scheduled for December 7th, is also in progress.
