Dear Mr. Denton:
Fort Calhoun Station Radiological Emergency Response Plan and Emergency Plan Implementing Procedures Effective December 28,1982,10 CFR 50.54(q) and Appendix E to this part were amended to reduce the number of copies of changes to nuclear power plant emergency plans and procedures that must be submitted to the Commission.
Specifically, this revision reduces the number of copies to be submitted from thirteen (13) to three (3) and requires that two (2) of these copies be submitted to the Document Control Desk in Washington, D.C. and one (1) copy to the appropriate NRC Regional Office. Since your office and the Office of Inspection and Enforcement in Washington, D.C. presently hold a combined total of ten (10) copies (controlled copy numbers 157 through 166) of the subject emergency plan and procedures, the District requests that copy numbers 157 through 164 of both the plan and procedures be returned to the District.
It is important that these manuals he returned so as to prevent use of a copy for which future revisions will not be provided.
Please note that controlled copy numbers 165 and 166 are presently held by Mr. D. Rohrer and Mr. E. Tourigny, respectively.
