CONSERVATION COUNCIL RESPONSE TO NRC STAFF REQUESS FOR ADMISSION Pursuant to an oral order at the prehearing conference of February 24, 1983, this response was postponed until March 10, 1983 As to the NRC Staff Request for Admission, dated February 4, 1983, re. bringing the two nuclear reactors to a cold shutdown mode even if the heat removal capability of the main condenser is unavailable, CCNC can neither admit or deny that the statement is true until after discovery relating to Contentions 12 (Jordan Dam Break) and 14 (Hydrilla) is undertaken.

I, John D. Runkle, Esq., have prepared the response to the NRC Staff's request for admission.
