CLINCH RIVER BREEDER REACTOR PLANT (CRBRP) INSERVICE INSPECTION PROGRAM In response to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff request, the CRBRP Preliminary Safety Analysis Report (PSAR) will be modified to contain the folloiting inservice inspection commitments:
1 Prior to sodium fill,.1 complete ultrasonic (UT) examination will be performed of all the large diameter (8 inches and larger) circumferential and the adjacent 12 inches of the longitudinal pipe weld. in the Primary Heat Transport System (PHTS), the Decay Heat Removal Service (DHRS), and the preselected high stress pipe welds in the Intermediate Heat Transport System (IHTS).
2.
After operation commences, when maintenance requires the piping to be drained and brought to a temperature where UT can be effectively accomplished, a complete UT examinatioa will be performed of exposed circumferential pipe welds. This applies to large diameter piping in the PHTS, IHTS, and DHRS.

Design features will ensure accessibility for application of state-of-the-art UT technology.
The required modifications will be incorporated in a future PSAR amendment.
