Dear Mr. Keppler:
This is to confirm a telephone call made at 130C hours on February 1, 1983, to Mr.
E.R.
Swanson, NRC Region III, Resident Inspector in accordance with Technical Specification 6.9.1.8.
At that time Mr. Swanson was informed that the outlet valve of the Unit One Spray Additive Tank was discovered to be in the closed position.
The discovery was made at 0915 hours0.0106 days <br />0.254 hours <br />0.00151 weeks <br />3.481575e-4 months <br /> on February 1,
- 1983, which was approximately seven hours following a surveillance test which required that the valve be placed in the closed position.
Upon discovery, the valve was immediately opened.
A follow up report will be submitted within the next fourteen days in accordance with Technical Specification 6.9.1.8.
