The Supply System committed in Reference 2 to evaluate the linear indica-tions found in the safe-end welds on the safety injection tanks in accor-dance with tne requiremer.Ls of 10CFR50.55(e). The Supply System review of the recently received Combustion Engineering's cnd Ebasco's evaluation has resulted in several technical areas requiring further amplification.
For this reason, the evaluation has not been completed as anticipated.
The Supply System shall provide the final evaluation to your office by February 28, 1983.
