Mr. George W. Knighton, Chief Page 2
Response
In our letter dated November 29, 1982, we committed to increase the number of portable Continuous Air Monitors (CAMS) available for area monitoring and provide upstream monitoring for the Primary Auxiliary Building; therefore, as delineated in the Standard Review Plan, we should be able to detect 10 MPC-hours in any routinely occupied area.
Open Item:
(SRP 12.5.1; Radiological Assessment Branch)
The Health Physics Supervisor should have access to the Station Manager on any aspect of the Radiation Protection Program or its implementation.
Response
In our letter, dated November 8, 1982, we described the line of communication that exists between the Health Physics Supervisor and the Station Manager. This communication line will be included in a revision to the Seabrook Station Organization Chart (FSAR Figure 13.1-5) in OL Application Amendment 49.
