VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY NORTH ANNA POWER STATION UNIT NOS.1 AND 2 REVISED CORRECTIVE ACTION PLAN NRC INSPECTION REPORTS 50-338/90 11 AND 50 339/9011 4
NRC Inspection Report 50 338/90-11 and 50 339/9011, dated July 9,1990, documented an NRC assessment of Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs) at North Anna Power Station. As a result of the NRC assessment, a corrective action plan was provided which included a schedule for revision of Abnormal Procedures (APs) and EOPs. Specifically, we committed to upgrade APs during the first quarter of 1991 and revise EOPs during the third quarter of 1991. The upgrade of APs is expected to be completed as originally scheduled. The originalintent of our corrective action plan was to revise EOPs and upgrade APs concurrently. However, procedure development resources have been-shifted to more critical station procedure requirements.
Therefore, the EOP revision corrective action schedule requires revision to June 1992.
Drafting of the revised EOPs will begin immediately following completion of the AP upgrade project and will continue through the-first quarter of 1992.
Following completion of the revisions, the verification and validation process will commence,-
which is scheduled to be completed by_ June 30,1992 _This revised date will allow optimized use of resources to complete' upgrading of the AP's as well as allowing adequate schedule flexibility for training operators on the revised EOPs.
Previous evaluations that were performed of both the NRC EOP assessment results and our own internal assessment results are still valid and indicate the current EOP's ga8188!n sa88}jp goes g

APs during the second half of 1992.
