VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY NORTH ANNA POWER STATION UNITS 1 AND 2 CONTROL ROOM DESIGN REVIEW COMPLETION OF CORRECTIVE ACTIONS By letter dated June 30,1986 (Serial No. 85-268C), Virginia Electric and Power Company submitted the Control Room Design Review (CRDR) Final Summary Report for North Anna Power Station Units 1 and 2. This report delineated the corrective actions to be implemented for resolving the human engineering descrepancies identified at North Anna during the CRDR process. A proposed schedule was provided which specified that the corrective actions would be completed in three phases designated as immediate, short-term, and long-term. The beginning of the three phases was established as January 1,1987 with durations of two, four, and eight years, respectively.
As requested by the NRC Project Manager for North Anna, this letter provides final notification of completion of the immediate, short-term, and long-term CRDR corrective actions.
