It is our conclusion that we should proceed immediately with design changes to the existing CPS systems to implement a Grand Gulf-type configuration as described in Reference (2).
We wish to meet with the Staff in early January to review the basis for redesign as discussed in a telephone conversation of today between L. Ruth, J. A. Kudrick, and W. R. Butler of the NRC and E. W. Kant of IP. We propose January 11, 1983, for this purpose.
