Parris dated November 2, 1982, we were requested to provide a current implementation schedule of the Generic Security Training and Qualification Plan (T&Q) for the Browns Ferry and Sequoyah Nuclear Plants (SQN). Our implementation schedule is as follows.
All Public Safety employees at Browns Ferry and Sequoyah have completed initial training in accordance with the respective Training and Qualification Plans. The BFN T&Q Plan wa.5 approved June 15, 1981 and training requirements were fully implemented June 29, 1982. The SQN T&Q Plan was approved September 15, 1981 and training requirements were fully implemented by March 31, 1982.
Public Safety officers will be requalified under the approved 10 CFR 50.54(p) changes during their scheduled annual training. Training under these requirements will be accomplished by March 1, 1983 at SQN and by August 1, 1983 at BFN.
