50-354 This annual report of challenges to Main Steam Line Safety /
Relief Valves (SRVs) is being submitte' pursuant to the requiremento of Technical Specification 6.9.1.5 for the year 1990.
During 1990, llope Creek experienced the fol'.owing unplanned challenges to SRVs :
1.
On 1/6/90, SRVs "II" and "P"
(Lo-lo set SRVn) lifted automatically to control-reactor pressure Ouring the course of a reactor scram.
The circumotances surrounding the lifting of these SRVs are described

2.
On 11/17/90, SRVo "II" and "P"
liftod automatically to control reactor. pressure during the courne of a reactor scram.
The circumatances surrounding the lifLing of these SRVs are described in LER 90-028-00.
Please note that SRVs "11" and "P" are the " low-low set" SRVo at Hope Creek, and are c.'esigned to arm and initially lif t at 1047 PSIG.
No other challenges to SRVs occurred during this reporting per 1.
