Dear Mr. Grimes:
Docket 50-305 Operating License DPR-43 Kewaunee Nuclear Power Plant Emergency Operations Facility Relocation Ef fective December 1,1982, the Emergency Operations Facility (EOF) will be locatad approximately 15 miles south of the Kewaunee Nuclear Power Plant in WPSC's Lakeshore Division Offices. These offices are located at 800 Columbus Street, Two Rivers, Wisconsin 54241.
This relocation of the EOF from the plant site to the Two Rivers Complex is intended to satisfy the requirements of NUREG-0696.
Subsequent to the move, we will conduct a communicacion drill from the new location to (a) familiarize our staff with the new facilities, and (b) verify that the new EOF will function properly and effectively.
We intend to provide the staff with a detailed description of the new EOF for your review in the near future.
