Reactor Shutdown Cooling Water Seal Gentlemen:
By letter dated May 20,1994 (NMPIL 0820), Niagara Mohawk informed the Commission that our Application for Amendment regarding the shutdown cooling water seal would be delayed until June 17,1994. This delay is necessary to finalize certain design attributes.
This letter is to inform you that an additional delay until June 30,1994 is necessary to finalize the design and obtain the required Niagara Mohawk committee review and approvals.
The need for additional time was discussed with the Staff on June 16, 1994.
