Enclosed for filing with the Commission is Amendment No. 48 to the License Application of Philadelphia Electric Company in the above captioned matter.
This Amendment makes changes to the Final Safety Analysis Report as a result of meetings with NRC Branches (Power Systems, Auxiliary Systems, Instrumentation and Control Systems and Mechanical Engineering).
In addition, the Amendment revises the Design Assessment Report to complete Applicant's response to the NRC Staff's letter of January 21, 1983.
This filing consists of three originals and nineteen copies of Amendment No. 48 to the License Application, sixty copies of Revision 19 to the Final Safety Analysis Report, r

As indicated in Amendment 48, Revision 3 to Volume 3 of the Design Assessment Report contains proprietary and confidential information.
Accordingly, it is requested that the Revision to Volume 3 be withheld from public dis-closure in accordance with Section 2.790 of the Commission's Regulations.
There are also transmitted herewith 41 copies of Revision 12 to the Environmental Report - Operating License Stage which makes various changes to the Environmental Report primarily relating the accident analysis in Section 7.1.
