OPERATIONS NARRATIVE COOPER NUCLEAR STATION May 1994 Cooper Nuclear Station operated at 100 percent for the month of May with the following exceptions:

1. May 1 - Lowered power to perform Control Rod operability testing.
2. May 8 - Lowered power to perform Control Rod operability testing.
3. May 13 Lowered power for Control R.d operability testing, .l Turbine testing, RPS and Rod Block surveillance testing.

4. May 25 - Manual shutdown to address Emergency Diesel Generator testing deficiencies.

A unit capacity factor of 78.0 percent (MDC Net) was attained for the month of May. l
