Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Unit 1 Docket No. 50-416 License No. NPF-13 File 0260/L-835.0 Special Report 83-021/0 - Fire Barriers in Auxiliary Building Opened to Support Planned Maintenance Activities AECM-83/0251 On March 15 and 16, 1983, five fire doors in the Auxiliary Building were blocked open to allow performance of planned maintenance activities. Hourly fire watches were established and maintained at all times during performance of the planned maintenance tasks in accordance with Technical Specification 3.7.7.

All maintenance activities were completed by 2130 on April 15, 1983.

Upon completion, the doors were closed and their alann circuits were activated. This is a Special Report submitted pursuant to Technical l

Specification 6.9.2.
