Dear Mr. Vassallo:
By letter dated March 11, 1983, the NRC Staff issued Amendment Nos. 54 and 79 to the operating Licenses for Brunswick Steam Electric Plant, Units 1 and 2.
These amendments deleted license conditions and Appendix B Environmental Technical Specifications pertaining to certain non-radiological water quality-related requirements which are administered through a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit.
1 As requested by your March 11, 1983 letter, Carolina Power & Light Company (CP&L) will in the future provide the NRC with copies of any changes to the NPDES discharge permit and any violations requiring notification to the permitting agency. These copies will be provided to both the Regional Administrator, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Region II and the Director, Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation.
