Reference:

Letters, H. B. Ray (SCE) to R. H. Engelken (NRC), dated September 7, 1982 and September 23, 1982 in the referenced letters, which described reportable conditions involving Limiting Condition for Operation (LCO) 3.6.3 associated with containment isolation valves, we stated that follow-up reports and revised LER's would be provided by October 15, 1982. These follow-up reports were to address the conclusions made f rom an engineering investigation involving maintenance and/or adjustments of limit / torque switches. It has been determined that additional evaluation and careful formulation of our corrective actions will require more time than originally anticipated.

Accordingly, the follow-up reports, identified in the referenced letters, wIII be pro.Ided by November 30, 1982, instead of October 15, 1982.
