Wells Eddleman's Objections and Request for .

Clarification re Hearing Schedule Purnsuant to the Board's Memorandun and Order dated March 10 '83, served Mhrch 11 and received by me March 16, I ask clarification that on onge h, Item 5, Eddleman 118'is meant, rather than Eddleman 16 (which was not admitted; 116 was), and that DCRDR contentions, if any, on control roon design fall under this deferral.

Please also clarify if the footnote ruling on that nage re l

Eddleman 41 does or does not prevent Applicants fron pursuing discovery ve Eddleman h1 before the end of the snvironnental hearing.

I have much work to do for environnental contentions; it'd best be deferred And please clarify my understanding that where Ann 11 cants pursue summary disposition by discovery, intervenors have discovery of Applicants on the sane contentions. i L

Re the schedule, March 15, 1984 as th'e last day for filing j m8E discovery on safety / management issues seems to assume the environ-EP mental hearing will end January 10 (it connences January h).

U sb og If mn rv 0 those hearings took longer, the discovery date should be put back l m

to still be 65 days from the end of the hearing.
