Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Docket No. 50-219 Generic Letter 88-14 Status The purpose of this letter is to provide the NRC, as requested, the status of GPUN's Generic letter 88-14 implementation.
As the NRC was made aware by our letter dated March 9, 1992, a program to ensure operability of safety related air operated valves was developed and implemented during the previous two outages.
Preventative Maintenance tasks have been written for containment isolation valves. A portion of these valves will be tested during the upcoming 15R outage.
This is in accordance with our schedule for testing safety related air operated valves with accumulators / check valves.
