Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
With regards to Reportable Occurrence Report R0-369/81-181 submitted by my letter dated January 19, 1982, in addition to the steps outlined in the report, Duke Power Company has taken the following additional corrective action: Control Room Operators will be instructed to be more detailed in recording Technical Specification items in the log.
Operators will now be required to log the exact reason a system (or piece of equipment) required by Technical Specifications is removed from or returned to service.
This should eliminate any confusion among the operators as to the exact status of Technical Specification related equipment.
