Vermont Yankee operated at 83.16% of rated thermal ower for the month.
Gross electrical generation was 297,611 MWH, or 82.1%of design eleccrical capacity.
Operating Summarv The following is a chronological description of plant operations including other pertinent items of interest for the month:
At the beginning of the reporting period the plant was operating at 87.72% of rated thermal power. The coastdown toward.the March, 1983 l
refueling outage was in progress.
830224 At 0030 hrs, a power reduction was initiated for the repair of the "B" reactor feed pump.
820224 At 1806 hrs, a return to power was started.
i-At the end of the reporting period the plant was operating at 80.31% of rated thermal power. The coastdown toward the March,1983 refueling ot:tage is continuing.
