C0!tiONWEALTH EDISON COMPAtlY DOCKET NO. 50-373 LA SALLE COUNTY STATION, UNIT 1 AMENDHENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE License No. NPF-ll Amendment No.
i 1.
The Nuclear Regulatory Comission (the Commission or the N9C) having found that:
A.
The application for amendment filed bj the Commocwealth Edison Corrpany, i
dated Movember 18, 1982 and December 7,1982, complies with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act),
~
and the Comission's regulations set forth in 10 CFR Chapter I-B.
The facility will operate in confcrmity with the application, the provisions of the Act, and the regulatior.s of the Comission;

C.
There is reasonable assurance:
(i) that the activities authorized bf this amendment can be conducted without endangering the health and safety of the public, and (ii) that such activities will be conducted in compliance with the Comission's regulations; set forth in 10 CFR Chaptar I; D.
The issuance of this amendment will not be inimical to the comon defense and security or to the health and safety of the public; and E.
The issuance of this amendment is in accordance with 10 CFR Part 51 of the Commission's regulations and all anolicable requirements have been satisfied.

Accordingly, caragraph ?.~ * ' the Facility Operating License No. NPF-11 is hereby anended to reau as follows:
D.
Exemptions from certain requirenents of Appendices G, H and J and and 10 CFR Part 73 are described in the Safety Evaluation Report and Supplement No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 to the Safety Evaluation Report.
In addition, an exenntion was requested until the completion of the 4
first refueling from the requirenent of 10 CFR 570.24 and an exeantion fron 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix E from oerforming a full scale exercise within one year before issuance of an ooerating license, both exenotions t
are described in Sunplement No. 2 of the Safety Evaluation Report.
Finally, an exenption was requested from tne requirements of 10 CFR j

g;- This latter exemption is described in the safety evaluation of License Anendment No.12. These exemotions are authorized by law and will not endanger life or property or the comon defense and security and are otherwise in the public interest. Therefore, these exemptions have been granted. The facility will operate, to the extent authorized herein, in conformity with the application, as amended, and the rules and regulations of the Comission (except as hereinafter exempted therefrom), and the provisions of the Act.
3.
This license amendment is effective as of the date of issuance.
