Dear Mr. Schwencer:
In our reference 3) Ictter, we indicated that we would reply to the NRC request for information on Control Rod Drive System hydrodynamic loads by December 1982. To that end, we have arranged to have an analysis l
performed for Limerick.
In preparing for the analysis, it was determined that the best results could be obtained by using the actual valve characteristics of the Limerick scram valves. These valve characteristics are being obtained by testing a set of scram valves from Unit 2.
This testing has caused a delay in our analysis schedule.
We now expect to have the results of our analysis availabic to the NRC by March 15, 1983 and we will provide a complete response at that time.
