Photographs of SF6 Ductwork and Bridges
Dear Sir:
During the site tour portion of the Caseload Forecast Panel visit (November 16-17, 1982), Mr. L. Wheeler of your staff requested photographs of the SF6 ductwork and bridges.
Per Mr. Wheeler's request, we have enclosed three photographs as follows:
Photo Description 1
This photo looking to the northwest shows the bridge over the three outgoing transmission lines. In the background can be seen the start of the guard house. Any vehicles coming on to the bridge from the vehicle inspection trap will, of necessity, be moving slowly and very unlikely to skid.
We photo also shows the Irving grating which covers the duct lines between the roadway and the substation.
2 Another view of the bridges over the transmission line ducts. We bridge for access to the Rocks area can be seen with a pedestrian on it.
Although, usage of this y
bridge will be infrequent during station operation, its QOf guardrails are the same substantial design used on the other bridges.
3 The ruggedness of the guardrails can be seen in this photo.
