December 1990 Catawba Unit 2 began the month of December operating at 984 power, limited due to steam generator "D" feedwater preheater max flow.
The unit operated at or near 98t power until 0001 on 12/15, when a load

reduction was commenced due'to a problem with feedwater pump turbine "Ba.
The unit was held at approximately 706 power from 0633 on 12/15 to 0005 on 12/16.
The unit reached 986 power at 1030 on 12/16, and operated at or near 98% power until 2305 on 12/23, when a load reduction was commenced due to economic dispatch. The unit was held at

approximately 70% power from 0300 to 0827 on 12/24 per dispatcher's request.
The unit reached 98% at 0027 on 12/25, and operated at:98%
