TU Electric, via reference 1 and 2, responded -to NRC Generic Letter (GL) 89-13

" Service Water Sys'.em Problems Affecting Safety Related Equipment." Reference 3 provided.the sctelule for baseline data collection-for designated Service-Water System examination sites.

On. December 31,.1990,1TVlElectr.ic-orally' notified the NRC of a change _to the schedule provided-in Reference 3; In response to GL.89 13. Recommended Action III. TU. Electric informed the NRC that-the " Corrosion Honitoring Program, Service Water Section" had-been developed to provide a means by which samples of= Service Water-System piping wall thickness would be per_lodically measured and trended.

Reference (2) notified the NRC-that TU. Electric had. completed implementation of the requirements of GL 89-13 for Unit 1.

CPSES Unit 1 baseline data collection:for_the designated Service _ Water System examinatioti sites-is expected to be completed-during the Unit 1 mid-cycle outage. This outage is presently scheduled for April,.1991, q
