Enclosed are thirty four (34) copies of the final submittal of the Chapter 9 responses on fire i
protection, emergency diesel generators and station blackout of the subject Request for Addition Information (RAI) on the Standard Safety Analysis Report (SSAR) for the Advanced Boiling Water Reactor (ABWR). The initial submittal was provided in Reference 1.
Response to these questions contain information that is designated as General Electric Company cn that was proprietary information. This material relates to the Chapter 9 proprietary informa*2 previously sent to the NRC (Reference 1) and its corresponding proprietary affidavit.
It is intended that GE will amend the SSAR with these responses in a future amendment.
