50-260 50-296 BROWNS FERRY NUCLEAR PLANT (BFN) - ANALYSIS OF SPIKED SAMPLE FOR NRC CONFIRMATORY MEASUREMENTS PROGRAM As part of the NRC Confirmatory Measurements Program, samples spiked with radionuclides were sent to BFN to be analyzed. The samples were analyzed for STRONTIUM-89 (Sr-89), STRONTIUM-90 (Sr90) and IRON-55 (FE-55) by a contract vendor (Scientific Applications International Corporation) and TRITIUM (11-3) by the BFN Radiochemistry Laboratory. The results of our analysis of the samples sent to BFN are as follows,:
St-89 1.82 E-04 1.40 E-05 uCi/ml Gr-90 5-32 E-06 1 5.31 E-07 uC4/mi 11-3 3.94 E-05 + 8.70 E-07 uCi/mi Fe-55 4.54 E-05 4.48 E-06 uC1/mi The above data was decay corrected to October 1, 1990.
